I was searching different jobs and finally I found a company that offer a job taking care a child of one couple. The company gave me this opportunity and I decided to send you a email because I am looking forward to be your babysitting. I am very responsable and kids love me. I have good hand with it because I grew up surrounded by younger children. This year I ended Baccalaureate and in September I will begin a career of teaching double degree. I want to be your babysitting because I want to learn more english and practice it. I am looking forward to dealing with children and new experiences. I'm going to tell you an anecdote. This is something that happened to me some months ago.
I love dancing and it's my passion, so I'm in a school of dance enrolled. In February they sorted out a weekend in Barcelona in order to dance with the best dancers. Therefore, I wrote down in it together with my cousins.
The weekend was a complete disaster ! Everything started when I fell asleep and arrived late to get the bus. Fortunately, they were waiting for me but I had to make up an excuse because if not they had been angry with me. When we got off the bus, the teachers told us that the instructor's engine had broken down and the class had been put off. We became angry and went to check at in the hotel.
It was a very hectic weekend, but funny at the same time because I could live new experiences and I saw that I was growing up.
I'm going to talk about a very special person for me. His name is Marc, he is sixteen years old and he is my twin brother. He is studying Electronics in a high school in Figueres. He has few hobbies; one is playing computer games and another one is dancing.
He is tall and skinny. Honestly I think he seems a spaghetti. He's dark-skinned and his hair is short and black. He has a long face with with small eyes and a nose as big as Gargamel, the villain in Smurfs. He has a small and dark mouth with a freckle on the right side between his nouse and his top lip. He wears the typical clothes, skinny jeans and sweaters. He is a fashion victim !
His personality is very difficult to describe but I'll try my best. He is very lovely and warm with own family and his closest friends. He is very shy but friendly at the same time. He's is big-headed, thick-skinned and very sensitive. He's always lying and all the family hates this fact of his personality but the positive things win the negatives ones.
This is my brother and I have to accept him. I love him a lot and all his bad things don't matter because he is my special and only brother.
In class we are talking about festivals. I was searching in my house when I found Albuquerque International Ballon Fiesta that impress me a lot.
This festival take place in New Mexico, Albuquerque during nine days on October. These days over 500 balloons fly in the sky.
The Ballon Fiesta began in 1972 when 770 KOB Radio celebrated a 50th birthday. The manager Dick McKee asked the first owner to had a air balloon in New Mexico if KOB cold use his new hot-air balloon as part of the festivities. Then they talked and decided overcame the record of England with 19 balloons. They wanted did it with 21 pilots, but the bad weather kept some of them from arriving in time, finally the festival had 13 balloons in the sky.The first festival incorporated a "Roadunner-Coyote Balloon Race", this rice has continued as part of the Ballon Fiesta today.
The Ballon Fiesta grew each year for decades and today is the largest balloon convention in the world.
When I found this festival, I fall in love, is a amazing festival is my opinion. The pice of information that affect me was: The pilots of the balloons are prepared very early, approximately at 4 a.m. Overnight Pilots and their teams illuminate illuminated balloons to show the people in the dark .
