Love, love and more love !! This point is present all the day, months, and years. We always fall in love with a man that can't get, the man that has girlfriend... This kind of love is complicated but there are other kinds. The love of fathers, borthes, sisters, grandmothers,etc.
The Greeks had differents kinds of love that inspired the young people for fall in love. There are 6 tipes of love:
EROS, or sexual passion: The name of this love come from a Greek God, Eros, that represented the idea of sexual passion and desire. This wasn't positive, now we find as a normal thing. Eros love is dangerous, fiery and irrational form of love that make you possess.
PHILLIA, or deep friendship:This love for the Greek wasn't sexual. It was comradely friendship that developed between brothers in arms. Actually we use this for refer the love between fathers and their childrens. It was about showing loyalty to your friends, sacrificing for them, sharing your emotions with them.
LUDUS, or playful love : For Greek God this love was refered to the affection between children or young people. It was based on flitring. We can find it when we are laughing in a bar with friends or when we are dancing.
AGAPE, or love for everyone: Is the most radical because was a selfless love. Is the love that you extended to all people to distant strangers. Fourty years ago was a problem. For this reason we have to care about strangers.
PRAGMA, or longstanding love: This Greek love was the mature love that developed between long-married couples. This was about making compromises to help the relationship work over time and showing patience and tolerance.
PHILAUTIA, or love of self: Was the self-love, was associated with narcissism where you became self- obessed and focused on personal fame o fortune. The Greek thought that if like yourself you will have plenty of love for give others.
